2012 Q4 Tablet Shipments heat up with 52.5 Million units, 22.9 Million being iPads
A new report released by IDCshows that Apple continues to lead in marketshare for WorldwideTablet Shipments with a 43.6% share, and 48.1% YOY growth from 2011. While Samsung isn’t necessarily “close behind” they did show an extrondinary 263% YOY growth from Q4 of 2011. While Amazon sits at 3rd right behind Samsung it’s interesting to not however that of Android Tablets the Kindle Fire, and Kindle Fire HD dominate.
