One keyboard to rule them all: The Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard

One keyboard to rule them all: The Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard

Logitech announced it’s newest product earlier today the Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810.  It’s quite the piece of technology the K810 allows users to switch from typing on a Mac to an iPad or iPhone with the touch of a button.   The Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard can toggle between devices while typing unlike most rivals, which pair with a single Apple device and complicate the process of switching between platforms. Illuminated keys automatically adjust to the brightness of the room, and the case features a real aluminum top to match the Mac.     Included is a  USB rechargeable cable which allows the keyboard to be used while charging, and a full charge lasting about 10 days. Said to be released in January of next year.   Check out the video below to find out more. The price for this bad boy starts at $99...

YotaPhone see it to belive it | Touch screen on one side – eReader on the other.

YotaPhone see it to belive it | Touch screen on one side – eReader on the other.

Spotted earlier by the folks over at TC.  The YotaPhone is a  powerful Android-based phone with extended touch areas and HD resolution display. The electronic paper display (EPD) is your personal space for receiving notifications, linking to your social media, reading news as it happens or simply displaying your favorite pictures. The two sides are linked together to open a new world of unlimited user experiences.   Sounds like a great design to me, I’m excited to see what these folks have in store.  Releases for the YotaPhone are said to be taking place in Q3 of 2013.   What would you do with an eReader on one side, and your touch screen on the other? Some of the specs for the device include:   Platform Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8960 Dual Core 1.5 Ghz Krait OS OS Android, 4.2 Jelly Bean release Dimensions 67×131(7.3/9.9) mm Weight 140 grams EPD Eink, 4.3” LCD JDI, 4.3” 1280×720 (HD) Connectivity LTE (bands 3, 7, 20 MIMO), 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi (Direct), BT,...

Apple thinking of Acquiring TomTom

Apple thinking of Acquiring TomTom

Well, after the incident on Monday regarding the Australian Police saying that using Apple Maps could be potentially “life threatening” I don’t blame them.   TomTom has been around for a while, and they’re also one of Apple’s main partners in providing data to its Maps App.  Robabobank analyst Hans Slob went on to say today that,   “there is a 30 percent chance Apple seeks to takeover TomTom in trying to make quicker improvements to its controversial new Maps app”   “TomTom needs the cash from Apple, and Apple needs the know-how of TomTom,” according to  Slob, estimates are that Apple would be willing to pay a price of as much as 10 euros per share for the supplier.   TomTom climbed 7.2%, an eight-week high, to 4.12 euros today, and it currently sits at a value of approximately 906 million euros ($1.18 billion...

Top 10 Apps in the US | Top Grossing and Top Downloads

Top 10 Apps in the US | Top Grossing and Top Downloads

App Annie has released its latest findings for Top Ranking Apps in the US for Downloads and Top Grossing.  They have a couple charts for both Google Play and the Apple App Store.   See below.   Appstore Top Apps     Needless to say, going from Paid to Free always boosts downloads.  If users can save a buck, they’re going to do it.  Especially when the average cost per download in the App-Store is..well, $1.  This was the case for Sky Safari. Their temporary move to free pushed its rankings higher — and they continue to stay high, despite now switching back to being a paid app.   Another noteworthy app riding the trends of the viral sensation Gangnam Style, is: Gangnam Dancebooth which has made its way into spot #4.     As for Top Grossing, Clash of Clans continues to dominate the rest of the freemium based apps out there.  I’m guessing it has to do with them updating their Avatar to include a Santa hat. ...
