Tablet Adoption over December Holidays 2012
Some interesting stats were released this morning by the folks over at Localytics. In summation, the Galaxy S II and Galaxy S III were the top two android devices.
Over Christmas however, the Kindle Fire HD 7″ exploded in market share with 322% (compared to 8.7% and 8.5% for the previous Galaxy S’s).
Of iDevices, The iPad 2 proved to be the most popular among consumers with 49% adoption.
As for iPhones, the iPhone 4S still has 2x (40%) share over iPhone 5(18%) while the iPhone 4 is not far behind with 36%, and 6% of people still using the iPhone 3GS.
All in all, some interesting stats. It’s interesting to know where the market is at when it comes down to specifics of device share.
