How much do people spend on Superbowl commercials?

How much do people spend on Superbowl commercials?

Isn’t that the question we all wonder?  The question that sits deep within our cerebral cortex that we ponder for what seems an eternity as our retinas our filled with entertainment.   It certainly is the question that I wonder myself.

How much do people spend on these Superbowl commercials?

Really.

I mean, it has to be a lot right?  And, one would assume with the way things work in our economy some type of inflation must take place, so really.  Without any further a due..

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST to have an Ad in the superbowl?

Well to be honest.  You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.  So let me go ahead and show you instead.

As you can see, for no apparent reason the cost of running Superbowl ads has been rising since 2008.  What’s interesting to note is that, 74% of people look at these commercials as pure entertainment.  Another 19% believe that brands should just give the $ they spend on these ads to their customers instead.  There are certainly some other interesting statistics, but I will spare you the details.

What’s most interesting I find, is that you’re reading this article on a day that you favorite team just won the Championship.  Now hopefully your team is the..

San Francisco 49ers!

Because if it’s not, then you really need to just stop reading.  Right now.  Really.

You’re not going to like what I have to share with you.

What I have to share with you will not be polite, nor will it be pleasant.

What I have to share with you may be demoralizing, or it may be just what you need to here to get over the most devastating loss of your adult life.

Yes.  It’s not pleasant at all is it?

Well, when you start searching for things like, “Who won the Superbowl” or “How much does it cost for a Superbowl Ad” these are the types of answers you get.  Especially if they’re being written at 3:25 in the morning from someone who just returned from a lounge in the city of the champions themselves.

Personally, I think we should both see other people.

That question of yours has prolonged this article for the last time.

How much people spend on superbowl ads is not relevant.  It’s “how much did you enjoy watching those ads” that’s really important.

Keep that in mind, and you and I are OK.

Until then.

May the force be with you.
