PocketMath Real-Time Bidding for Mobile Ads
While still in closed beta PocketMath offers a unique solution to the Mobile Ad Exchange mix. PocketMath is a self-serve, mobile demand-side platform, for buying RTB (real time bid) impressions across all mobile and tablet devices. So how exactly do they do this? Through their real-time bidding, they aggregate and optimize the world’s mobile RTB impressions, in one self-serve platform.
A Brief intro of the importance of the types of opportunities this presents with RTB. RTB is the technology that allows PocketMath to bid for impressions, within 100 milliseconds, that exactly match the criteria and parameters set for in a users campaign. PocketMath optimizes ad spend by bidding dynamicaly on each impression.
A Startup based here in San Francisco, PocketMath was started two years ago by three friends who met nearly a decade past while students at the University of Texas at Austin. Eric, JD, and Casey came together to solve a need recognized in the digital advertising space. After many iterations, a year (or two!), several prototypes, and countless meetings, PocketMath was born as a mobile demand-side platform (DSP) to bid for mobile app and web inventory in real-time (RTB).
