Apple iPad Mini 2 LEAKED Photos [Unverified] Retina Display On it’s Way?

Spotted by the folks over at WeiPhoneForums some new alleged photos of the next generation iPad Mini have been revealed. What's more than evident  is that these shells are thicker than those of the current generation iPad Mini which suggests that these shells could be supportive of a Retina display iPad mini which  is known to require thicker casing in order to accomodate new graphics and battery components.  The retina display obviously being one of the most anticipated new features in the next version of the iPad mini.

Because the casing appears to look very similar in overall design to the casings for the current iPad mini model, it indicates that these casings may be legit.  However, at-the-same-time,  because the unclear nature of the source of these images and because of the strange blue “iPad” and Apple logo printing on the rear, it's difficult to determine if that is the case after-all.  I'm sure we'll find out soon enough, probably later this year.
