Mobile Commerce App Usage iOS VS Android

According to a new stat from Arbitron Mobile US, iOS users are 54% more likely than Android users to use apps for commerce, per new data from the.  In addition to  iPhone users being more likely to use mobile commerce apps, they also log 20% more time with them, and conduct 19% more “virtual shopping trips”.

When it comes to mobile commerce apps, eBay tops the list, and is used by 14.3% of the US smartphone panelists. In close 2nd is Amazon, used by 13%, followed in 3rd by Groupon with 11.1%.
