Android Device Market Share for June. Hardware and OS
It’s time again that nativeX has released their findings on what the most popular Android Smartphone is for the given month. In relation to last month, there isn’t much of a change aside from the fact that Samsung Galaxy S4 seems to be gaining a little bit of traction as far as device owners.
The samsung Galaxy S3 however still proves to be the big winner with 12%$ of owners using it. 7% on the Galaxy S2, and then the rest are also Samsung owned devices as well. It still surprises me however that 60% of the devices are ‘Other’.
When it comes to Android OS (Operating System) Market Share we have two different charts to gander at. That of the Google Developer Portal, and then That of NativeX’s portal which measures stricly gaming apps. It is evident that in both portals Gingerbread (37% and 21%), Jelly Bean (33% and 44%), and ICS (26% and 33%) (Ice Creme Sandwhich) still lead the way.
