Google may be the new Wireless Provider in town.

Google may be the new Wireless Provider in town.

The search giant Google has already met with reps from Dish Network to partner on a wireless service that could potentially “rival” wireless carriers/networks like AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint.

In an interview this week, Dish Network Chairman Charlie Ergen said,

“potential partners include companies ‘who would like to be in the industry’ and don’t offer wireless service.”

He did not name Google or any other of the companies. Despite the talk, there’s speculation that AT&T might partner with Dish on the spectrum offering.

Will update as more news comes in,
