Apple Lighting connector to USB Adapter – About time.
FINALLY!
As if it didn't take almost 2 months, (oh wait I guess it did) for the lighting connector to come out with an adapter, it's finally here.
Starting at $19 in the Apple Store.
It let's you connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with a lighting connector to a micro USB cable and use it to sync and charge your device.
Personally, this is great for me because most of my other devices ARE microUSB..how about you? (Leave comments below)
Apple’s Lightning connector is the new power connector used in the latest generation of iPod, iPad and iPhone devices. It replaced Apple’s previous 30-pin dock connector, and is incompatible with cables and devices created for its former 30-pin.
And if you didn't already know..
Here is where you can find the: Lighting to 30-Pin Adapter. Which goes for $29.
On a personal note..
I think Apple should have included both of them with all new devices for free.
..But then again, who am I to say Apple shouldn't slap their customers in the face to bump up their stock & marginal profits.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with why they went from $700 last month back down to $582 ..which is actually $13 lower ($595) than when they had their original press release for the iPhone 5 back on the 23rd of October.
