PopSlate gives you another 4-inch display on the back of your iPhone 5.  It's a case with an E-ink screen on the back (like what they use on the nook, and kindle) that's always on, displaying images and data while using minimal power from your iPhone 5.

Like the rest of E-ink screens, you can easily read what's on your screen in direct sunlight.  The only downside at this point that are observable are: The dimension, and the weight.  with a .54" thickness it basically double the iPhone's .30-inch profile and adds nearly 2.64 ounces to the iPhone 5's 3.95-ounce weight.

Future developments include: having instagram integration to have individual pictures or create a slideshow.  In addition to being able to control everything within the popSlate app, there will be an API that will allow developers to create apps specifically for the screen.

As the video illustrates it's not necessarily a "touch screen" but rather works with the iPhone 5's accelerometer, reacing to a tap on the screen to allow you to change images.  Currently the screens are just in black and whie, but color screens are "hopefully" on their way by 2014.
