Augmented Reality Contact Lenses Seriously.  Just this year at Google IO conference we were thinking that the coolest thing since sliced bread soon to come would be Google’s Project Glass. Giving us the ability to have a screen projected into our retina for augmented reality.  And then, not too long ago I stumbled upon this movie:   And I sat there thinking to myself..   Damn, that would be cool – but it’s probably still going to be ‘a while’ before tech can create this type of stuff.  I mean, after-all having Contact Lenses that augment your reality is really bridging the gap and creating singularity.   So as I was doing some research today, I saw something that absolutely blew my mind (which is probably why you’re here). Imec, (the creators of the LCD display technology) allows the use of almost all of the contact lens surface, unlike LED-based applications that only enable a few pixels. Facebook Privacy statement meme   In response to a widespread meme in which users were  posting a string of ‘legalese’ to reserve the sole ownership rights over the content they post to Facebook, the social network has released a statement informing users that they still retain control and ownership of any content and information they post to the site. The notice further adds that, this has ALWAYS been the policy of Facebook and that the rumor warning of a change to content ownership was and is false.  At the same time, Facebook is reworking its governing documents, shifting away from its current voting method toward a more meaningful feedback-oriented system for policy changes.
