Apple iWatch LEAKED Photos and Video

Apple iWatch LEAKED Photos and Video

Before you read any of this, I have to warn you that what you’re about to see could change your life forever. What you’re about to see could forever alter your imagination and sense of belief. It actually just might be the most un-surprising thing you’ve ever seen. After hearing news from both the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal Bloomberg has jumped on board with their own story this evening claiming that Apple currently has 100 product designers working on the ‘iWatch program’ ..and it is growing. “Apple Inc. has a team of about 100 product designers working on a wristwatch-like device that may perform some of the computing tasks now handled by the iPhone and iPad, two people familiar with the company’s plans said. The team, which has grown in the past year, includes managers, members of the marketing group and software and hardware engineers who previously worked on the iPhone and iPad, said the people, who asked not to be named because the plans...

Apple to bring Manufacting back to US.

Apple to bring Manufacting back to US.

Ok, so maybe not entirely (as that would more than likely decrease marginal profits by an amount that shareholders would not be happy with..and with Apple’s stock where it’s at, that’s the last thing they need) … But, in tonight’s state of the union address, President Barack Obama mentioned that Apple has plans to bring back manufacturing to the U.S. starting with an existing Mac line this year. President Obama’s comments came in larger context about bring back jobs to the US. “After shedding jobs for more than 10 years, our manufacturers have added about 500,000 jobs over the past three. Caterpillar is bringing jobs back from Japan. Ford is bringing jobs back from Mexico. After locating plants in other countries like China, Intel is opening its most advanced plant right here at home. And this year, Apple will start making Macs in America again.” Cook also announced Apple’s plans to bring Mac manufacturing to the U.S. at some point in 2013 in interviews from late 2012. Additionally, reiterating the plans in an...

Apple and Samsung take 103% of 2012 Cellphone profits

Apple and Samsung take 103% of 2012 Cellphone profits

Yes, you read that right. 103% of 2012’s cellphone profits, and 101% in Q4. When we break it down, to answer “how is more than 100% even possible?” it goes like this. Apple claimed 69%, while Samsung took 34%. A total greater than 100 is possible because of operating losses at companies like Blackberry, Motorola, and Nokia. Canaccord analyst Michael Walkley wrote, “We believe Apple’s value share of the handset market is even higher than our estimates…considering Apple’s dominant market share of the tablet market, as some Android OEMs such as Samsung and HTC include tablet sales in reported smartphone sales and profits,” “Given the current competitive dynamics, we believe Apple and Samsung will maintain dominant value share during Q1/13 with share gains for Samsung versus Apple expected in Q1/13.”   Needless to say, Samsung is Apple’s biggest competitor (thanks to phones like the Galaxy S III, Galaxy Nexus, and Galaxy Note II). To realiate, Apple has filed multiple patent cases as a strategic weapon against Samsung and Google’s...

Apple 128GB iPad now available

Apple 128GB iPad now available

Well.  It’s official. The new 128GB Apple iPad has officially become avaiable for purchase.  Starting at $799 for Wi-Fi only, and $929 for Wi-Fi + Celluar.  One thing that I still think about is, how silly Microsoft was to make the Surface Pro start at $899 with only 64GB, when it actually turns out to be closer to 48gb because the heavy OS takes up nearly 50% of the space. Then the with the 128GB having the same issue, and starting it at $999, which has the same issues. By comparison, it’s not that Apple’s iPads don’t take up any space for the OS, it’s just..significantly, significantly, less.  The 16 GB iPad, for example, has a little more than 14 GB of available space while the 32gb Surface only has 16gb of space.   Are you kidding me Microsoft? Guess not. Guess that’s why they will always be an inferior product.  Guess that’s why they’re not even close to Google or Apple when it comes to being an applications...
