Chartboost Store Now in Closed Beta for iOS, Android and Unity
Chartboost, the cross-promotion network for mobile developers, with over 16,000 games in their network and 6 billion game sessions every month has recently announced it’s launching a new back-end service that will power in-app purchases and stores inside mobile games. The “Chartboost Store” is said to make it easier for companies that wish to add new items and adjust pricing on the fly without having to go through the inconvenience of doing an update. Additionally, the new store will provide developers analytics as to which items from the store are performing the best to adjust accordingly. While many large game developers already have these technologies there is a large crowd of smaller indies who don’t. At present the company says 5 people are already using their store, and it’s in closed beta for iOS, Android, and Unity.
