AppTrace mobile analytics platform – may be your new best friend.

AppTrace mobile analytics platform – may be your new best friend.

In a nutshell.. AppTrace (which is FREE by-the-way) provides ‘sentiment’ analysis for the App Store’s 24 million reviews. AppTrace also lets users search by title for apps available on the App Store and see how user reviews score it in terms of three key criteria: positive feedback, addictiveness, and crash complaints. Additionaly, it provides insights on how user feelings on each of those scores change over time, so that developers can monitor how changes affect reviewer sentiment. One of AppTrace’s findings.. ..is that most apps don’t even have reviews. 529,895 without VS 257,229 with. The good thing is that at least (for the one’s with reviews) is that most of them tend to be positive. Evidently only 72% meet AppTrace’s criteria however. CTO and co-founder Paul Muller said in an interview with TC,   ““We have the advantage that application reviews are focused on a topic most of the time,” he explained. “If you want to analyze a blog post, this is very complicated, but with an app review,...

SBA for Tech Companies | The Tech Futures Group is the equivalent to SBA for Tech Companies

Tech Futures Group is the equivalent to SBA for Tech Companies   In follow-up to my article I wrote yesterday, I also had a chance to talk with these guys at GMIC as well. Initially given my experience with what SBA has to offer, I wasn’t as interested but after doing a little research on their website.. I found that they actually have quite a bit to offer.  All at the incredible price of: FREE.   The Tech Futures Group (TFG)’s mission statement is as follows: The Tech Futures Group is dedicated to fostering an innovative economy by advising qualified technology companies – at no cost – how they can raise capital and therefore create high-wage jobs.    ” TFG provides strategic advisory services to qualified technologists and technology companies to help them get to the next level. TFG’s focus is on assisting with the commercialization of technology products or services and with the preparation of raising funds. TFG charges no fees for its services and takes no ownership interest in client companies. TFG’s charter is to help technology companies...

App Flood | Is AppFlood right for you?

App Flood | Is AppFlood right for you?

Is AppFlood right for you?   A while back I attended this event called the Global Mobile Internet Conference down in the valley.  Pretty big. Pretty interesting – and pretty insightful.  There was one company that I still remember to this day, mainly because I thought the idea of what they were doing was pretty cool for Indie developers.   AppFlood basically provides developers a simple SDK procedure that enables them and their apps to cross-promote with hundreds of other developers.   Here are some key benefits:   It’s open to everyone. You can setup your campaign in minutes. Best of all, it’s 100% commission-free.   Side effects may include: Increased users Excitement Regained hope But really,   If you head on over to AppFlood‘s website you’ll see under the “How it Works” what basically looks like this: So I’d encourage you to check it out.     At the end of the day, it’s free.   So you have nothing to lose – and everything to gain!  ...

HeyZap – Mobile gaming Platform | The XFire for Apps

HeyZap – Mobile gaming Platform | The XFire for Apps

Heyzap to me seems just like the Xfire for apps.  What a brilliant idea.   HeyZap has just announced they are adding player leaderboards that developers can add to their mobile games. Leaderboards for both iOS and Android now include Heyzap’s SDK.   Jude Gomila, co-founder of Heyzap went on to say,   “the integration only takes about an hour. It’s already live with 50 Android games, including GnarBike,Jewel Cut, and Trivia Burst. (Additionally, it has also been integrated into some iOS games, but they’re still going through the Apple App Store approval process.)  ...
