Gree says iOS now 4x more lucrative than just 1 year ago
Additionally the gaming behemoth Gree also expects Android to grow faster in 2013. Senior Vice President of studio operations, Anil Dharni claimed that, the growing use of the iPad as a gaming device was one of the key factors behind the extreme jump in revenues.
In an interview with TechCrunch speaking about the iOS Platform Dharni said,
“It’s 4x and beyond in terms of revenue (compared to a year ago).”
Also adding that Google’s Android still has a ways to go before catching up with iOS in terms of per users monetization, further commenting,
“We feel that Android is going to grow faster this year,”
When discussing Facebook, Dharni hinted at the idea of Facebook becoming a major acquisition channel for developers looking for a good ROI.
