How Far Will YOU Go for a Deal? [INFOGRAPHIC]

How Far Will YOU Go for a Deal? [INFOGRAPHIC]

Thanks to the folks at Telenav we have a great infographic which has measured how far people are willing to go to redeem certain deals.  To name a few off the top: 11.3 miles for used cars (I assume you’re in the market to buy ;)), 9.8 miles for hotels & motels, 9.8 miles for new cars, and the rest you can see in the infographic below.

This type of data is the bread and butter for apps like Scout  which has main features completely based off GPS.  According to Scout’s Advertising GM Eli Portnoy,

“Location is an extremely powerful tool for targeting mobile ads, but most advertisers are still applying a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to location targeting,”

“For example, I live in Los Angeles and it makes no sense to show me an ad for coffee in Pasadena because I will never drive the nine miles it would take me to get there. That would take me over an hour.”

Needless to say, the same is not true across the boards, all the more reason for you to check out the infographic below and get the bigger picture (no pun intended).
