“Siri, schedule an appointment with John for next Wednesday at 1pm.” “I’m sorry I don’t understand what you mean.” “Siri, put on my calendar – lunch with John at 1pm on Wednesday” “What would you like me to put on your calendar?” “Lunch with John” “When would you like to have lunch with John?” “Wednesday” “Is that this wednesday?” “Yes” “I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you mean” If you’re an iPhone user, you can probably relate to the above. Being a wishful thinker, I was hoping that when I got my iPhone Siri would be able to be my very own ‘virtual assistant’. Fact of the matter...

Samsung, known for being a ‘fast follow’ company has confirmed today to Bloomberg rumors of it working on a smartwatch to rival the widely-speculated Apple iWatch. Personally, I think once people are all wearing their Google Glasses they won’t have any need to look down at their wrist that much. On another note, what I have been waiting to see for what seems like FOREVER – is: A pair of bluetooth headphones that connects to your ‘SmartWatch’ so when you’re in the gym you can control your music, monitor your workout, and more from your watch and really bring your A-game. No one’s thought of this? Really? I...

With all the talk about Samsungs most recent unveiling of their Samsung Galaxy S4, it may be a good time to reflect on their original Galaxy S and see what they’ve done over the years to see what truly makes this phone as ‘revolutionary’ as they claim it to be. While I have to admit, the eye-based scrolling, 13MP camera, and digital to physical photo conversions are pretty impressive – it also makes me wonder what they have in store for the V? With more than 150,000 S4 conversations taking place during the launch, 25% of iPhone users are now considering swapping for Samsung. Today we’re going to...

Who would know better than Netflix of who the fastest ISP is? With 33 million customers currently streaming more than 1 billion hours of TV and movies every single month, and in some cases using up to 1/3rd of all the bandwith in North America – Netflix undoubtedlyhas the data. In a new ISP Index, Netflix has provided insights for 8 different countries, including: USA, UK, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Mexico. For the U.S. it looks like the top dogs are: Having dealt with Comcast a lot recently, it makes me wonder if I should even retain their service seeing as they’re actually all-the-way down at...

Now that things have died down a bit, in-case you haven’t already heard, Samsung officially unveiled its new flagship Glaxy S4 smartphone last night with their ‘theatrical broadway-style’ presentation in New York. Today, analysts are quick to jump in with their opinions of what this means for apple. Closing at $443.63 today, there stock doesn’t appear to have taken much of a hit. Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray’s is one who is not the least bit immpressed with the S4 upgrade, but did note Samsung’s new ‘S Band’ as being “a quick first pass for Samsung on wearable technology ahead of Apple’s watch”. Also adding that he expects Apple...
