A new report from analyst Forrester predicts that tablet ownership in Western Europe will quadruple by 2017. With everyone under the sun talking about “how cool the Google Glass will be to wear” I thought it was worth mentioning that the device is still not due till next year, and with that a $1,500 entry price. Google however, has graced us with a new video that shows off their UI. More refined, undoubtedly – users are shown what it would be like to take part in various activities, taking images, video, and using Google Now-style notifications and cards. The phrase “OK Glass” appears to act as a keyword for Glass to listen to the user and follow commands, similar to how Kinect users the term “Xbox”,...

According to a new report by NPD, and given the expected performance of consumer interest in their smartphones (The iPhone – 3GS,4,4S, and 5) and tablets (the iPad, and iPad Mini) perform so well, that they apparently account 19.9% of all US consumer tech sales based on revenue. These results, needless to say, far outpace any other company even Apple’s arch-rival Samsung which did, (for the record) saw similar gains, but remained at about 10%. It’s also worth mentioning that the rise in revenue of these two giants came at the expense of several others, including: HP,Dell and Sony, which saw a combined drop in revenue of $9.5...

Well, that certainly didn’t take long. I thought I just wrote an Article a couple month ago talking about this type of thing. Probably did. Not sure where it is. Let’s continue. Apple has confirmed a report from Reuters claiming that, “Apple was attacked by hackers who infected a “small number” of its Mac computers. Apple allegedly believes that the same unidentified group are the one’s behind the attack on Facebook last week. In their own words, “Apple Inc computers were attacked by the same hackers who targeted Facebook Inc, but no data appeared to have been stolen, the company said on Tuesday in an unprecedented admission of a widespread cyber-security breach.” Furthermore, in a statement Apple provided to AllThingsD on the matter: “Apple has identified malware which infected a limited number of Mac systems through a vulnerability in the Java plug-in for browsers,” the...

With the departure of Apple’s iOS Chief Designer Scott Forstall many expect some big changes on what could be on the way with iOS 7. This is due largely in part because Jonathan Ive has taken over design responsibilities related to iOS. At the same time, the criticism for Apple’s aging core iOS apps and highly requested features is going nowhere but up. Below you’ll find a ‘best of’ possible iOS 7 features we could see in the near future. The one below featured by YouTube User Almanimation shows a ‘Lock Screen Drawer’ feature that gives users easier access to settings. Another on how a potentially new contact...

As a marketing strategist that’s a question I think about on behalf of my clients almost on an on-going basis. As a small businesses, or enterprise social media marketer it’s something you should probably be thinking about as well. With 90% of small businesses on facebook you’d be surprised to learn that only 1/3rd only make a post a couple times a week. Another 3rd want to spend even less time on social media. With Facebook’s new ‘graph search’ on its way, that’s something that’s going to need to change. Assuming you want your local business to grow. If you haven’t been filled in on what ‘Graph...
