Despite the optimism, the company faces tough challenges from regulators and insurance companies before it can be put into production, with safety concerns and other legalities being the main stumbling points. Makes sense, I mean – how do you insure a robot driving a car? What if my robot car – driver, crashes into your robot – car – driver? Who’s to blaim? Maybe there was a glitch? In any case, Anthony Levandowski, a product manager at Google working on the project said, “the company hopes that the system’s improvement on society could lead to cars that drive safer than people do,” Dan Smith the associate administrator...

Before you read any of this, I have to warn you that what you’re about to see could change your life forever. What you’re about to see could forever alter your imagination and sense of belief. It actually just might be the most un-surprising thing you’ve ever seen. President Obama’s comments came in larger context about bring back jobs to the US. “After shedding jobs for more than 10 years, our manufacturers have added about 500,000 jobs over the past three. Caterpillar is bringing jobs back from Japan. Ford is bringing jobs back...

I can only imagine how much money they’re losing..” Well, today – thanks to the folks at Smartbear – we don’t have to imagine anymore (although it’s highly suggested that you still do,...

In the mobile world, companies are defined by their vanity metrics. How many monthly active users do you have? What’s your retention like? How many downloads do you have? These kind of metrics, while certainly surface level are usually what guides the Silicon Valley Mindset of, “get users today, make money off them tomorrow”. It is seriously crazy. Companies will amass millions of users, but still have no revenue model on how they’re going to monetize those users, yet somehow have raised millions in funding. Let’s take a deeper look. In mobile, DAU’s (daily active users) is often the standard by which app developers are judged. While...
