If you’re thinking about releasing your APP anytime soon ..it may be worth noting that you should if possibly DO NOT release on Thursdays. Ok, so maybe no one will DIE – but – trust me, I’m going to tell you exactly WHY in just a a second. It’s been known for a while that every other day EXCEPT Thursday has benefits (according to Chartboost). Wednesdays have traditionally shown to be the most popular release day because it’s the day before Apple updates their ‘featured lists’ on iPhone, iPad and iTunes App Stores. Traffic is at its lowest on Thursday, generally 7% percent below average in terms of...
Apple filed two patents this morning. Both of them sound very exciting (or confusing). The first is a design for intelligent auto-zooming for content, and the 2nd is a method for detecting and adjusting noise resulting form an iPhone’s vibration. PatentlyApple covered the highlights of the intelligent zoom patent earlier today, “In some embodiments, the device may also be configured to track the user movements (e.g., position and velocity) and, in response to certain movements, provide feedback and/or enter or change a state of operation. For example, movement toward the device may activate more features, such as providing more options/menus in a user interface, whereas movement away from the...
As spotted earlier today by 9to5mac Retailers were expecting to receive the new 21.5″ inch iMacs by Nov 27th this month, (right in time for black Friday) and the 27-inchers later in December. The retailers source went on to blame a welding process for the delays, which would push the iMacs into 2013. The new iMacs also have a redesigned display that features a new thinner lamination process. The technique utilizes intense heat and pressure to create even more seamless joins than previous techniques. Apple CEO Tim Cook had previously acknowledged in a conference call to analysts that the iMac would see “significant shortages” but did not specify why, and continued to expect...
Ok.. So generally, I wouldn’t write an article on this type of app just because I’m not a girl, and frankly these types of apps don’t interest me; nor do they glean any insights I can re-articulate in a deliverable fashion for those of you reading. But.. I do have a friend who’s launching her app within the next 4weeks that is essentially a makeup app for women and so I thought I’d look into the Smize App to see if it’s anything similar or how well it was actually put together. And to be honest.. I am quite shocked as I sit here writing this...

Well isn’t that something.. Prior to today Samsung was alleged to have raised their A-Series Processors by 20% on Apple. While app has began negotiations with two other companies Samsung is thought to be one of the few that can meet the demand that Apple tends to have. According to the Korean newspaper “The Hankyoreh” The update is said to have come from a Samsung executive who prefers to be left anonymous. It was made clear that, prices are typically set at the beginning of the year, and don’t change easily. May the force be with you, ...
Startup Lovely was co-founded by Blake Pierson and was launched in March of 2011 just released their first iPhone App. I look at Lovely as.. A Lovely name, and a Lovely platform (and now App too!) to help apartment hunters find their ideal pad while they’re on the go. Pierson said, “You need to be on the hunt the entire time,” That is especially the case if you’re trying to land a place in the Marina district of San Francisco. In addition to having: A stable income that makes the Landlord feel comfortable & A pleasant demeanor If you’re a guy you may want...
