Twitter study shows its users are younger, more engaged, and easier to market to.
A new Study released by twitter about its “primary mobile users has revealed that these mobile users are younger, more receptive, and more engaged (compared to their desktop counterparts).
Mobile-first users are 57% more likely to log-in to Twitter on desktop than the average Twitter user. They’rea lso 86% more likely to be active on Twitter several times a day. Of those percentages, 15% access my tablet first and foremost.
The study also revealed that users in the 18-34 range are 52% more likely to log in primarily via a mobile device than other age groups. Also 157% more likely than average Twitter users to open Twitter when waking up, and 129% more likely to do so right before bed. If that wasn’t enough, 160% are more likely to use twitter at school or work, while 169% are likely to use the service while shopping and 3x as likely to use during commutes.
