Zynga Closing Down More Offices – Texas,NYC,Baltimore
In a statement earlier today by Zynga COO David Ko it was revealed that several of Zynga’s offices will be closed down and consolidated. These offices that will be closing are:
- McKinney Texas
- Downtown-Austin Texas
- (Both of which are consolidating and moving to North Austin)
- New York City
- and Baltimore.
- The New York City will also be consolidated to Zynga’s Mobile Studio.
Zynga states,
“While these decisions are always difficult, these steps will affect approximately 1% of our workforce and enable us to focus our resources on the most significant growth opportunities.”
While it’s never exciting or joyful to hear this type of news, it is news that impacts the industry nonetheless.
