Facebook Messenger latest Voice message feature
Evidently I wasn’t the only one to notice seeing as 9to5mac just wrote an article on on Faceboks latest update to their Messenger app.
What’s New in Version 2.1
– Send a quick voice message when you have more to say
– Call friends for free right from Messenger*
– Other improvements and bug fixes
Among other things like bug fixes and what not, the main update here is
their voice message feature. Creating this type of feature while certainly appealing (to me at least) also means they’re going to be competeting with other apps ike Voxer, Zello, HeyTell and more..
It will be interesting to see how this affects the Apps install rates, I would imagine it would increase seeing as currently 50-60% of people never even use the Facebook App, yet alone Facebook Messenger.
